Borderlands 2: Vermivorous The Invincible - harder than Terramorphous the Invincible
Vermivorous The Invincible
Its name? Vermivorous the Invincible -- but you can call him Vermie! He's a Varkid insect and has DOUBLE the health that Terramorphous has.
Their evolution tree: Larval Varkid / Blood Varkid -> Adult Varkid -> Badass Varkid > -> Super Badass Varkid (or Chubby Varkid)) -> Ultimate Badass Varkid -> Vermivorous the Invincible.
This monster spawns randomly -- so there's no easy way (that I know of) to fight him.
So there are a couple of tricks and things to know when fighting this boss -- assuming youre lucky and patient enough to encounter this "majestic" boss of all bosses...
How to Kill Vermivorous The Invincible
1) Distract the boss if you can! This means using other enemies nearby to possibly mess around with the boss. Skills like the Turret and Death Trap also help with this.
2) Lead it to a nearby spawn point so that when you DIE, you will resurrect right by the boss and can continue your assault.
3) Fighting this boss solo is possible; Fighting Vermivorous The Invincible in a duo or bigger party is also possible! Just note that difficulty scales up with more members.
4) It is recommended that you hunt for some great gear before engaging in this battle, but it's not required. An AMP shield called "The Bee" is recommended, as is a shotgun called "Conference Call".

This boss drops great loot. You can expect rare, epic, and legendary -- guns, class mods, grenade mods, artifacts / relics, and shields.
I recommend going to the Tundra Express location to try to get him to spawn. It may take a while too so patience is key. Remember that he can spawn anywhere Varkids inhabit.
While they can spawn when you're alone, it is suggested you join a big party to increase the chances of metamorphoses. You do not need to attack the Varkid. Give them a lot of time to transform, but no longer than 2 minutes.
When Vermivorous the Invincible is about to be created, he'll start out as a Supreme Badass Pod before transforming.

And just FYI to answer a FAQ -- no - the blood of Terramorphous is NOT required for Vermivorous. He has no requirements.
