Borderlands 2 - The Bee

The Bee

Here's some great information on all the different types of Borderlands 2 shields. Some have nice secret effects from red text. Some do not!

Moreover, the different manufacturers all have special traits.

Borderlands 2: Best Seraph Weapon

Borderlands 2 Seraph Crystals

Seraph Crystals

The Borderlands 2 DLC Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty added the brand new currency -- Seraph Crystals, which lets you get Seraph weapons / seraph guns, seraph shields, and seraph artifacts / relics.

And...the unfortunate truth about these Seraph items is that...They are not worth the trouble of Farming Seraph Crystals

At the moment, the best Seraph gun is the Hyperion Actualizer - a nice SMG. While it is powerful, it is not the best weapon you'll encounter and you can easily find better ones. However, it does have a very high DPS and red special text that says "We need to talk about your DPS report" -- which adds increased gun accuracy. Not DPS meaning Damage Per Second.

There are many times of this gun. There's the Corporate Actualizer, Social Actualizer, and Proactive Actualizer.

Just a reminder in case you forget the location of the Seraph Crystal Vendor: he is in the Town of Oasis behind a door!

Seraph weapons cost 120 seraph crystals. Seraph relics cost 50.
If you would like to still farm Seraph Crystals, then check out Borderlands 2: How to Farm Seraph Crystals Fast to learn how to cheat the system a little bit and get Seraph crystals faster than ever! It's a nice secret.

Borderlands 2 Seraph FAQ

Have questions about Seraph guns, seraph shields, and seraph artifacts / seraph relics? Check below.

Q: Are seraph guns better than normal guns or E-Tech weapons?
A: It is largely regarded that the seraph weapons are pretty under-powered considering all the work you have to go through to just get the Seraph Crystals. Similarly, a lot of Seraph Guns are weaker than regular or even E-Tech guns. However, you CAN find a nice, rare Seraph Gun that outdoes your other weapons (including Legendary or epic items) if you're lucky. Note though that many consider the shotgun known as Conference Call to be the best weapon in the game.

Q: Are Seraph Artifacts or Seraph Relics better than normal artifacts or relics?
A: The short answer: they CAN be, but normally are not as good as what you may be able to find from bosses.

Borderlands 2 Mod: Increase Difficulty, Better Loot

Is Borderlands 2 too easy for you? Even during Playthrough 2 / Playthrough 2.5 (vault hunter mode) is it just not challenging?

Then this Borderlands 2 mod / Borderlands 2 hack is for you!

It basically emulates you being in a part of 2, 3, or even 4 so that all of the enemies scale in difficulty, which also lets you get better loot, drops, and treasure chests! Check the video below for a guide / tutorial on using the mod / trainer.

Best Borderlands 2 Mod

It works with the latest patches and DLC's, and you can use this when playing co-op with friends in a real party too to fill in the missing player slot with a fake one. When enemy difficulty scales, so does the loot qualtiy! So you can get better loot and hopefully find some nice rare, epic, or legendary weapons / guns, shields, class mods, grenade mods, and artifact / relics.

Get it from Here. More information on this mod can be found at: Borderlands 2 Mod: Increase Enemy Difficulty

Note that this is for the Windows PC version / Steam version -- so if you have Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 (PS3) then this won't work for you.

Anyway, as mentioned, this is a good way on how to get better loot in Borderlands 2.

Borderlands 2: How to Kill Terramorphous the Invincible

Borderlands 2 - Terramorphous the Invincible

Terramorphous the Invincible

Location: Thousand Cuts -> Terramorphous Peak
Quest: You. Will. Die. (Seriously)
Appointed By: Tannis

If you beat Borderlands 2 Playthrough 1 and Playthrough 2 / 2.5 and are tired of wandering around in Vault Hunter mode, then you may be looking for a challenge and a way to farm good loot (especially if preparing for future DLC battles).

Fighting the Borderlands 2 boss - Terramorphous the Invincible - is a great way to go!

This Thresher boss is located in Thousand Cuts. It costs 4 Eridium to fight this boss. He's harder than Crawmerax from Borderlands 1 - The Secret Armory of General Knoxx - and a bit weaker than the more secretive and elusive Vermivorous The Invincible.

You can solo him, duo / co-op him, or fight him in a bigger party of three or four. His difficulty will scale up with more party members in your group though.

Borderlands 2: Vermivorous The Invincible - harder than Terramorphous the Invincible

Borderlands 2: Vermivorous The Invincible

Vermivorous The Invincible

So you must have thought that the Borderlands 2 boss - Terramorphous the Invincible - was hard. But guess what? There is a monster boss harder than Terramorphous the Invincible!

Its name? Vermivorous the Invincible -- but you can call him Vermie! He's a Varkid insect and has DOUBLE the health that Terramorphous has.

Their evolution tree: Larval Varkid / Blood Varkid -> Adult Varkid -> Badass Varkid > -> Super Badass Varkid (or Chubby Varkid)) -> Ultimate Badass Varkid -> Vermivorous the Invincible.

This monster spawns randomly -- so there's no easy way (that I know of) to fight him.

So there are a couple of tricks and things to know when fighting this boss -- assuming youre lucky and patient enough to encounter this "majestic" boss of all bosses...

Borderlands 2: How to Easily Kill Slagged Bloodwing

Borderlands 2 Slagged Bloodwing

Slagged Bloodwing

Do you need help beating Slagged Bloodwing in Borderlands 2 (location: Wildlife Preservation - only during the mission / quest)? No problem. He (or she) is actually not as hard as you may think.

1) Bloodwing likes to swoop down to attack you -- so make sure to run (if you need to). I personally didn't have to move around very much when fighting him, but keep it in mind.

2) Secondly, Bloodwing changes elementals several times throughout the battle. To counter this you need to have lots of non-elemental guns OR (instead) a large array of elemental guns so that you can switch to a differenet elemental than what Bloodwing is (if it isn't obvious -- you don't want to attack an elemental enemy with the same elemental that they are using).

Borderlands 2: How to Farm Eridium Fast

In Borderlands 2, Eridium (not Iridium!) is a currency (similar to Seraph Crystals), that lets you purchase special upgrades for Ammo SDU (storage deck upgrade), thus allowing you to hold a larger ammo capacity for each gun type you choose.

There are other upgrades too: bank slots, backpack slots, max grenades, etc.

These upgrades are useful and the only way to get them is through the Black Market in Sanctuary using Eridium.

So how to you get Eridium fast in Borderlands 2? Check out the video below for a great tip on how to farm Eridium.

Basically, there are 21 different chests in Sanctuary that are capable of giving you Eridium. You open all of these chests (possible to do in 80 or so seconds), exit the game, reload the game, and then do it again! It's possible because all the chests keep coming back.

Enjoy the tip / secret and have fun farming Eridium on Borderlands 2! Keep in mind that this isn't a cheat or hack or mod or anything. The treasure spawns back normally.

Note that this works on all versions of the game no matter what patch you have -- including console copies: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 (PS3); and obviously Windows PC.

Borderlands 2: How to Farm Seraph Crystals Fast

Borderlands 2 Seraph Crystals

Seraph Crystals

If you beat Playthrough 1 and Playthrough 2 of Borderlands plus the new DLC Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, then you may be thinking about getting seraph crystals (a new currency like Eridium) through the quests by Shade. There's a couple of ways to harvest Seraph Crystals. You can fight the bosses Hyperius the Invincible or Master Gee the Invincible to get Seraph Crystals. Normally you can only fight them once every 24 hours, which is enforced to make it so you can't keep killing these bosses over and over again.

But you can cheat to get passed that with a nice trick! Change the date! It's that simple. Make yourself 24 hours ahead. This works on consoles and PC. You can likely get a trainer to hack your saved data or game, but I wouldn't. There may be a patch soon that will fix this.

Borderlands 2: Best Build for Mechromancer

Borderlands 2: Gaige the Mechromancer

Gaige the Mechromancer

This has been perhaps one of the most difficult builds to settle upon: The Best Solo Build for Mechromancer

Why? Because the Mechromancer class just has so many great skills that you have to neglect points in a couple of spots in order to reach others. Gaige just has so much flexibility after all.

This build can easily be modified depending on your personal preference. And remember that using class mods can help you fill in the gaps left behind in some areas.

I'd like to mention that this build still provides high damage per second (DPS). It doesn't have all the elemental damage perks from the Little Big Trouble skill tree. Additionally, this build still gives power ups to your sidekick Deathtrap so that you two can duo well. Since this is an Anarchy build, a lot of points were put into the "CLOSE ENOUGH" skill to help counter the reduced accuracy. This will help you take potshots and actually hit enemies still, as well as make it easier to come back from FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE -- so you don't have to worry as much about dying now. To further enforce the great solo abilities of Gaige the Mechromancer, 1 point was put into BLOOD SOAKED SHIELDS so that you can utilize your shields for more protection.
