Borderlands 2: How to Kill Voracidous the Invincible

He is very hard to solo in this epic game battle. And though his difficulty scales up when you duo or are in a part of 3 or 4, it's still much easier that way. Of course, he is even harder in Playthrough 2 or Playthrough 2.5 / Playthrough 3 than Playthrough 1. But that goes without saying. Most people will face him in a later Playthrough naturally.
So if you need a guide or some tips on killing this boss and its minions, then guess what? You came to the right place for gaming help! (maybe...possibly...I make no promises!).
How to Kill Voracious the Invincible Easily
He will fight you with his minion, Chief Ngwatu (a Savage) and through summoning Savage Murderers through totem poles. Ngwatu will use the shield first, then give it to Voracidous, which will makes him absorb tons of damage.
The key is to keep Chief Ngwatu alive because if you kill him, then Vorac gets even more powerful early on by mutating. Plus, if you really need to, you can try to quickly kill Ngwatu to revive yourself from Fight for Your Life mode. Kill the Savage Murderers to help protect Ngwatu.
Using powerful shock elemental Tesla Grenades helps a lot in this battle. So make sure to spam them like crazy against this raid boss to help bring down that shield.
Eventually, this boss WILL mutate even with Ngwatu alive. He'll then use shockwave attacks, which are powerful, but dodgeable if you jump at the right moment.
After you defeat him, you can then fight Dexidous the Invincible. But, that's for another day 😉
If you have the Conference Call shotgun, then this battle is even easier (especially if it has a shock effect).
You can also try using the Trespasser sniper rifle, which lets you shoot through shields and damage directly via the special effect "I infrequently perish". The Tumtum Trespasser is a good variant.
A Shock elemental Norfleet (legendary E-Tech) can do massive damage and is useful in this battle.
What's the best class to kill Voracidous?
Axton, the commando class, has the benefit of having turrets to help protect himself with a shield (good against the shockwave attack). Zer0 the Assassin is able to turn invisible, which is useful if you need to heal or want to throw grenades while invisible. Gaige the Mechromancer can do well in this battle if you prime up her Anarchy Stacks or use her shock abilities from the Little Big Trouble skilltree (DeathTrap of course can help too...). A tank version of Salvador the Gunzerker can be useful for longevity. And, of course, Mayya the Siren will do good elemental damage.
What Loot Does Voracidous the Invincible Drop?
He drops what you expect him to drop.
You can usually expect legendary gear, epic gear, etc. Maybe even some E-Tech if you're lucky.
This of course includes the usual Seraph Crystals, Weapons, Shields, Class mods, and similar.
Now go raide the Hunter's Grotto Lodge.
