Are you a fan of Dark Souls? Well, Dark Souls 2 just came out the other day and it's already flying off the shelves, having received amazing reviews (such as a 9/10 from Gamespot).
And it's well-deserved. You can tell how much time and thought was put into the game, and rightfully so, as the game warrants such.
It boasts its typical mysterious environments, larger-than-life monsters, and difficult combat, while also addressing some of the issues people had with the original.
The console versions are out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (PS3). At a later date, the PC version will be released as well. If it's anything like the original Dark Souls for the PC, then expect community support to become available to help improve the frame rate (FPS) and/or graphics.
The newest Vault Hunter to be released for Borderlands 2? KRIEG the Psycho (obtained via a purchasable DLC)!
His action skill has been given the name of Buzz Axe and he's geared towards throwing attacks and melee based combat.
Something neat about him is that every single time he kills someone, his health / hp is replenished.
Something even more unique? In Fight For Your Life (FFYL) mode, you throw sticks of dynamite / TNT at enemies! That sounds VERY cool and VERY powerful.
The release date is in May. So be patient! That's next month, guys!
It has been revealed that the three skill trees he has are as follows... Bloodlust skill tree - Similar to Gaige the Mechromancer, you will accumulate stacks. The higher the stacks, the higher damage output / DPS you produce. I'm not a fan of this type of skill, personally.
Mania skill tree - Apparently, this tree lets you boost your melee attacks. From the sound of it, you do more damage when you are hurt (and your teammates can hurt you to boost your damage) so it may be worth doing this tree if you play coop with anyone or are in a big party where you can have assistance.
Hellborn skill tree - All I know is that this gives you a lot of elemental abilities (such as lighting enemies on fire, electrocuting them, causing corrosion, etc).
This character costs $10 to get on PC (Steam / Origin), Xbox, and PlayStation 3 (PS3).

Here are Borderlands 2 Shift Codes for Windows PC / Steam, PlayStation 3 (PS3) / PSN, and Xbox 360 / XBL.
If you want to know how to get Borderlands 2 Shift Codes then you're in luck -- it's easy!
You need to check the Gearbox Twitter posts and also Randy Pitchford's posts: HERE and HERE.
Remember that these codes give you nice rewards, such as golden keys for special loot treasure chests (like in Sanctuary).
Also remember that these Borderlands 2 Shift Codes expire -- so many of the ones posted here may be expired by the time you view them. The bottom ones are newer than the top ones and remember they are limited use (but MANY can use them before they hit that point).
The newest downloadable content / DLC coming to Borderlands 2 -- Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.
It sounds similar to Moxxi's Underdome (with arenas and fighting in tournaments in so forth)...yet some people say that it also sounds like it could be RACING (Torgue vs Torque). This probably isn't the case though because TORGUE is a manufacturer of weapons on Borderlands 2 -- so you'll likely just be dealing with them in this DLC like you did with similar manufacturers in the past.
Many people have been experiencing this new glitch / error / bug after upgrading their Borderlands 2 with the latest patches and DLC' (such as Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty).
When playing, your frame rate will drop significantly from the most random of things -- such as Catch a Ride, Vending Machines, and menus in general. Certain areas in the game will cause additional lagging too.
Unfortunately, there is no patch yet to solve this (as of the time of this post). Just know it is a common problem and that Gearbox is aware of it (their forums are littered with posts).
So if your Borderlands 2 is laggy or has stuttering or anything, then know that a patch will be on the way to fix this! And it isn't Windows related or Steam related.
A new DLC for Borderlands 2 is coming called Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty. It adds not only more missions, but also a new form of currency called seraph crystals.
This new currency allows you to purchase special seraph weapons that vary in rarity like traditional weapons.
When is it going to be released? The date is October 16th, 2012!
Known features that this expansion will bring to the game:
-- Seraph Crystals (new currency)
-- New weapons / guns, shields, class mods, grenade mods, artifacts / relics
-- Oasis location
-- New Vehicle called Sand-skiff
-- Giant Sand Worm Monsters
It will cost $9.99. Get it from the usual places -- Xbox 360 Live Marketplace (XBL / XBLM) or the PlayStation 3 (PS3) Network / PSN. It *SHOULD* also increase the level cap of the game, as was done traditionally in the past -- possibly bringing the level cap to level 60 or level 55 or something like that.
